What's all the fuss about? Gspace is basically a Firefox add-on that takes the little pile of gigabytes the Google folks provide for your Gmail account and converts them to a more usable virtual drive with music-playing and storage-adding capabilities. Available via a free software download or by a toolbar button, the extension simply opens up a new window with an FTP-like interface for uploading files to your Gmail account. When prompted, click " Upload File," select a location where you'd like to save the file, then choose a name to place it in. It's as easy as that - and if you're not using the internet, well, you've got nothing to learn! The software is easy enough to install and use, but what about the adware? Well, the same applies to any software application you might come across with adware included (even though it's free). But unlike most adware, Gspace's publishers have made their software offer a comprehensive and constantly updated list of adware and spyware that might be installing itself on your computer. This way, you know exactly what to look for and how to get rid of it. When you download Gspace, you'll also receive a host of other useful tools that can make managing your account easier, especially if you don't use Gspace very often. One such program is the Google Toolbar Add-On, which is used to help you manage your feeds and search engines; you'll find many more useful add-ons if you do a quick Google search for "Google Toolbar." And just like the rest of Gspace's add-ons and functionality, the free version of the toolbar is absolutely free - so don't hesitate to download it and see for yourself. It's a one-time fee with every download, so it's definitely worth taking advantage of. You'll be thankful you did later on!
